With Thanksgiving quicking approaching, nosotros just have to read a story about a turkey! For this week's literacy snack thought, we're reading, How To Grab A Turkey, by Adam Wallace and Andy Elkerton.

Information technology's a cute book near a turkey that doesn't realize he's about to exist in the Thanksgiving school play and decides to run away. The whole school attempts to catch him and he ends up dorsum on phase having a blast.

For our snack today, we're making a turkey!

Ingredients

Each pupil will need

ane Oreo cookie

i candy corn

2 small candy eyeballs

9-10 pretzel sticks

Get together

To make the turkey, take the students carefully twist their cookie just a bit to loosen the 2 sides. Next, have them identify in their pretzel sticks in between the two cookie sides into the foam filling. It'south easiest for them to do this when it's laying downwards. Final, have the students put on the candy eyes and candy corn beak. Beautiful and piece of cake little turkey!
